73rd INDEPENDENCE DAY

Our school celebrated 73rd Independence Day at 8.45 am. Our chief guest. Ln.K.S.Sadasivan, Senior Board member, Lions Club of Madras Golden City, unfurled the National flag.Ln.K.M.Samikkannu, Board member,Lions club of madras Golden City felicitated the occasion, sweets were distributed to the children by our chief guests.

The chief guest Ln.K.S.Sadasivan and Ln.K.M.Samikkannu addressed the gathering. The welcome address was rendered by Selvi M.Sruthi – XI B,compering of the whole event was done by Master.M.Abhilash of XI a and vote of thanks by Selvi G.Subbulakshmi of XI A. Prayer,Pledge,Vandemataram,and the command was done by students of class IV to VI. The English speech on V.O.C by Selvi.Saipriya Babhu of XI B and Yogita Sai spoke about Bal Gangadhar Tilak in Hindi. A patric group song on Mahatma Gandhi and a groupdance on patriotic theme were rendered.

This year Independence Day was conducted by the students in an impressive way with responsibility and involvement Jai Hind.
