Our students went for Plantation Drive – A RALLY WALK.
The RALLY was conducted for the cause of saving TREES. Students chanted slogans like ‘Nature is Music to our ears’and ‘Go Green’ in favour of conservation and protection of Trees. The students marched safely on the Pedestrian lane without disrupting the traffic.
They held placards and small banners to spread awareness among the masses.
The second phase of the event was tree plantation. Our students of IX and XI along with the Principal and teachers planted 50 saplings in and around Madippakkam Lake.Students donated saplings to the public and explained about the significance of trees.
The School SDG TEAM planed to organize more such events in the future, with the aim of creating a Sustainable friendly environment.
