Our science stream students visited Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research in two batches first batch on 20th November and
2nd batch on 5th December 2024 Shasthri Bhavan.
The students had the privilege of visiting the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) centre in Chennai. They learned about the important role AERB plays in ensuring the safe use of nuclear energy and radiation in our country.
Our students impressed by the cutting-edge technology and innovative approaches used by AERB to regulate nuclear safety. They also gained valuable insights into the various careers available in the field of nuclear science and technology.
This visit has not only broadened our knowledge but also inspired us to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). We also felt grateful to AERB for providing us with this enriching experience.
